Great Days Fishing

8 Species caught in days fishing

Saturday the 28th june proved a great day for fishing. A full complement of 12 passengers and two crew took to the water at 9am for a days fishing. In all 8 species were caught. Mackeral, Ling, turbot, ballen wrasse, cookoo wrasse, lesser spotted dogfish, pollach and coalfish. We werent even on a species hunt!!

Spirit gets biggest fish.

The first sea fishing competition of the year took place on saturday 4th july Seven boats with about 50 anglers took part and the largest fish was caught by Brian McLoughlin aboard the M.V. Spirit.
