The first sea fishing competition of the year took place on saturday 4th july Seven boats with about 50 anglers took part and the largest fish was caught by Brian McLoughlin aboard the M.V. Spirit.

We have been working on the new site and hope to have everything up and running soon.
Another great days fishing aboard the "Spirit". A 5.25 lb ling, several 5lb + pollach, tub gurnard and pouting were caught to give a mixed bag. The winning fish on the day was a 5.5lb pollach, caught by Brian McLoughlin. A great evening was had with the prise-giving in Connolys. Even Tabby turned up and played. Thanks to all the committee of the Flaggin Point Boaters. A total of €1200 was raised for the RNLI.
